  These hilarious and multi-talented brothers founded the Nerdfighters and the pwnage of the "In Your Pants" book title suffix joke while communicating long distance through uploading videos!!! Click here for the link to the channel!


• Chess
  A game of supreme logic and mental skill, chess is infamous for being the signature game for nerds. My favorite part is the pretty black and white squares. :D There's no greater pleasure than pwning all of you puny-minded friends in chess, so start building your sick chess skillz now, fellow nerds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Available as computer chess or the actual chess board and pieces*


• Nerdy Music
  Surprisingly, there are tons of songs out there geared towards the nerd/nerdette community, and here are some of my recommendations: They Might Be Giants is a band with informative lyrics and fantastic melodies including my faves--"Doctor Worm," "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)," and "Why Does the Sun Shine?" The song "The Geek in the Pink" by Jason Mraz is irresistibly catchy with a chic nerdy vibe in there. "White and Nerdy" by Weird Al is a well-known witty parody about the plight of white nerds (not intended to offend). Look these all up on Youtube, homeskillets!!!

Attempt to Slay Boredom #1: Yo Mama Jokes!!!

Konichiwa.

I know you just got bored-er after reading this, but now I'll get to the point. In this post, I will list an assortment of the best Yo Mama jokes I've heard over the span of my obviously pointless life. These are purely for entertainment's sake and are not intended to offend anyone in any way (except for Amanda, of course). XD Let it begin:

• Yo mama is so fat, when she went to the aquarium the whales started singing, "We are family!"
  
• Yo mama is so stupid, she got hit by a parked car.
  
• Yo mama is so fat, when she sat on a rainbow, Skittles popped out.
  
• Yo mama is so ugly, she tried to enter an ugly contest but the staff said, "Sorry, no professionals!"

Btw, Amanda: I was just kidding about offending you with those yo mama jokes (I would never disrespect your mother) but I just HAD to pwn you after that email you sent me. Yeah, the one that blinded me with its glaringly obnoxious text. ;) That was one sick email, I do have to say. I heard this song 3 times yesterday and Issy and I were singing all the lyrics EVERY SINGLE TIME. So you can imagine how badly it got stuck in my head today. I had to slaughter the song somehow, and this is the answer to my prayers. ^_^ Enjoy!!! Btw, Issy told me that I got "scorned" yesterday, so if you ever feel like dissing someone really dorkily, tell them, "You just got scorn'd!!!!!" Don't forget to tell me how that works out! XD

Welcome to this Week's Nerdtastic Book Discussion. I'm Your Host, Nerdette Jong-Jong. XD

So Blinda told me about this book last year I think, and I was in the middle of shirking my responsibilities when I saw the same book on Amazon.com's list of best teen books of 2008. The book is Paper Towns by John Green. Long story short, it's a book of FABULOCITY and I've read more than Blinda. Haha! :P Go here to check out mooooooooore!!! That's all I can say right now, folks... bell's gonna ring! TTFN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMF-ingG! Post Update:
Finished the book last night and the ending is the best &#$% thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, it's imperative that you read the preceeding content first, but the way it ends with the events and the language and the interwoven themes...! Schist, Bwinda--if you don't finish reading it, you're dead to me. ;) And yes, I'll give you the book back.

Oh, je ne sais pas...

So I THOUGHT I had a new favorite band, but it's a five/six way tie between...
Oasis, Coldplay, The Beatles, The Verve, and U2...

I should make a poll! But I can't choose, so I guess all of them are my favorite. Ariane's not helping with the process (tisk, tisk... not returning my texts!) But she does go to sleep unusually early.

I will have a new playlist soon! I found tons of coolio songs while being bored and procrastinating on the "important" stuff.
I can't wait until summer vacation! That will give me tons of time to make more posts and playlists and get in tounch with my inner self!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But now I have to get like ALL the albums from all of the bands so I can listen to them during my free time!!!! :)

Mais, I still have SCHOOL, and it sucks miserably. I'm slacking off more than usual on my homework and labs and stuff, et je ne sais pas qourquoi!! :'(

Hey, So Guess What?!

Nothing. I have nothing to say. This happens to me a lot; I ask someone at lunch, "Guess what?" and when they say "what?" I reply, "Actually, I got nothing." It's rather misleading, is it not?


OMG, so we saw the movie "Push," right, and there was this scream-y guy who was doing something pretty freaky with his eyes and then the lollipop chick got owned by the tiger she prophesied would kill the other girl (I always forget her name). But the best part was when the Nick dude injected himself with soy sauce. Yum.

Also, there's this AWESOME website (it's a MMORPG 'cuz I'm a nerd like that) and the avatar design is amazing (it's the best part) but you also get to shoot monsters which a laser gun and play with your friends. You can find it here at fusionfall.com. Try it out, but it does shut down my browser occasionally (Firefox) and it might not let your computer run at it's best, so be warned. Otherwise, it's super fun!!! XD
