OMG, look at that t-shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't STAND it. As an avid ninja-lover that is. But let's not start a war, pirates are awesome too.

I like coffee, I like tea..

This post is for the fellow Waldorf classmates who taught me the Ahchi-Kachi Liberace hand game. I know I saw some (though not all) of you on Saturday, but surprisingly the most inviting of all my former Waldorfian classmates was Aaron, who is over 6' tall, still breakdances, and is a guy of all things. ;0 It was good to meet new Waldorfians, and greet old ones (although Ms. Hart is the farthest from old at heart and I met a harmonica/guitar-playing college freshman, who I personally consider young as far as age goes).

Glad to be done with that godd*@n French project, but now need to study for AP Bio and practice. DOES IT EVER END???

Here's the practical answer: Not if I want to get into college =(

That's pretty much the reason I'm blogging. I need an ESCAPE from the shitloads of work to be done. (Excuse the expression) Also on my list of needs: more self-control :(

So that means I'm done for today and seriously need to go do something productive now. But maybe I'll get some coffee or tea before I do... this is how it all starts, isn't it? ("it" refers to procrastination, BLEH)

jAsOn MrAz

must be the human being with highest level of consciousness I have ever encountered so far in my life. However, I have never encountered him in real life, only vicariously through the Internet, but meeting and/or marrying him is definitely on my Bucket List. Jason Mraz just came out with an EP album--my fave song is definitely "Up." Coincidentally, that's also the title of a Pixar (*squee!!!!*) movie. Check out the album here.

You Just Lost the Game.

WHAT THE HELL?!?! HOW IS IT ALREADY SEPTEMBER??? Btw, about the title of the post: You're gonna hafta watch this vlogbrothers video about THE GAME & soccer World Cup interventions.

Now that you've thoroughly enjoyed losing the game as well as losing in every effort you have and will ever give in your life, how bout some GROUNDBREAKING NEWS? (Just kidding about the You-just-failed-and-will-continue-to-fail-at-life thing; losing the game is a very good and somewhat amusing thing!!!)

Blinda and I, at ages we do not wish to disclose because they are so very out there in terms of what we finally did, have gotten our ears pierced. Piercing Pagoda, baby. She's got the ladybugs, I have tiny gold flowers, and man, is it good to be earring-initiated.

Secondly, I urge you to go out and buy only reusable metal water bottles from now until death do you part. And when you come back home from the store, recycle all of the plastic bottles in sight. Pourquoi/pourqué/为什么, you ask???? Hey, it's BPA (bisphenol-A) attacking you in your very home!!! BPA is a chemical used in plastic production that's been linked to reduced sperm count in men, premature puberty in girls, and diabetes. So if you buy the reusable METAL water bottle, it saves plastic, the energy it would have taken to make all those plastic bottles you would have used throughout the rest of your life, and you don't get to lose any sperm! That's what I call a win-win situation. ;)

The questionable hazard of BPA is described in these 3 articles, and is--as of now--inconclusive. However, it's your choice whether you expose yourself and your family to a potentially toxic chemical that could be easily avoided if you just knew where to find BPA by reading up on it (and if you just bought the dang metal water bottle!!!) Make sure it doesn't have a plastic lining, though, cuz the first article describes that.
Enjoy the Back-to-School specials (:P) and the Jewish New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yours 'til the foot steps,
~Nerdette Ari (P.S. I stole this closing greeting technique from here. Thought I should give the author some credit.)
