About the emo monkey...

Awi and I never agreed on the name. Awi wanted to name it Coldplay, But I wanted to name it Primrose. So there. I have an idea! Let's make it a poll...

My Emo Monkey!!!

Several months ago I wrote a post about a wooden monkey toy that I had made in Tech and deemed "emo". I said I would post some pics of him, so here they are:

His name is Coldplay. Isn't he beautiful? :D I was gonna name him Fall Out Boy or My Chemical Romance, but Blinda adores Coldplay so we settled on that name. Hope you enjoyed!

Awesome Movies/Songs

Blinda was right- The Dark Knight was really good. The Joker as portrayed by Heath Ledger was insanely good, literally. We haven't even seen the other two movies that came before this one, but after a while we could still pick up the story. Awesome plot. Now I sound like a big shot move critic. Niiiiiiiiiice. I really liked the movie Wall-e too. If you're wondering why I'd watch a PG-13 and then a G movie, it's because I really like the Pixar movies. Anyway, it was really cute, really smart, and very funny. This is for Bwinda: Coldplay is awesome and my fave songs from them are Clocks, Viva La Vida, and Violet Hill (thank you Blinda for blasting Coldplay in my ear back when I didn't know their songs). This post was really long and boring, but I couldn't think of anything else to write about... so stop complaining and get back to work!!!!!

Update!

So, Ari and I (notice the great grammar) went to see Batman: The Dark Knight tonight! It was AWESOME!!! Maybe even better than Sweeny Todd? don't know...

Marshmallows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you lovin' the new background? I sure am! ^_^ Cuz, I mean, who doesn't like marhmallows, right? (That's a rhetorical question, BTW). They're so pretty and colorful!!! *_* So, this post is dedicated to marshmallows! Hace you ever roasted marshmallows over a candle flame? It's a fun alternative to roasting over a campfire or a gas stove flame. In fact, that's this month's Save the World With the Nerdettes Activity, because you can save gas and stuff... Well maybe that's not the best excuse, but come on! Marshmallows don't need an excuse! :D And I have a cartoon character named Martin the Mushmellow. That was kind of random, but at least it's marshmallow-themed! This isn't marshmallow-themed, but we're seeing Batman: The Dark Knight today! Anyway, ciao for now!

Guess what? Us nerdettes joined the "Teen Summer Reading Club" at the library! Now we're reading a book about a girl who was sold by her family into prostitution! *Yay* And BTW, Blinda, you spelled the word "squeegee" wrong. I am very happy because my friend emailed me back!! Remember Sandy my posts from Maine a long time ago? She is sooooo cool. But it was my fault cuz I waited a long time to email her.

tennis camp

so, today tennis camp ended early because it started raining. I was upset, because i was pwning awi in tennis and she was losing badly cuz she can't hit right. So we ran for shelter under a tent thing. but frank made us run back in the rain and pick up tennis balls. but i also got to use the squeegy. and when i was rolling it, a guy from another camp was like, your ruining the squeegy, and i was like, but frank let me. i don't like the guy. he won't let me express my true feelings about my squeegy friend. and yesterday tennis camp was canceled completely. but we'll get to make it up.

I got surgery again :(

Hola, I got surgery again. Remember about that painful surgery I had about a month ago? Well, that was only for one side. I got the other side done today, and it hurts even more. They said that this surgery was harder to do than the other side, and my mouth looks like it has a gaping hole in my gums. eww... and whenever I push down on it, some blood squirts out. And I lost my painkillers.

Handbag making

So me and ari went to this handbag making thing at the library. Her's turned out really okay, but mine looks a little... akward. Like it looks really bad. really bad. really bad. really bad. really bad. really bad. and I'm never going to wear it. I would say it was a waste of my time, but it wasn't. It was very good bonding time :) yep. and plus awi's turned out really cool. But I did her A's. I didn't want to put an apostrophe between the A and the S, but it would look like As. and then it wouldn't make sense.

Just Chillin', My Dog, and YouTube

Three giant topics, all squashed into 1 concise post- convenient, right? Well, Blinda went off 2 tennis camp again and I'm left at my house doing nothing. I'm perfectly fine with that, though, because a good dose of boring can do a person good after a stressful week. BTW, here's a pic of my puppy Mochaccino (Moki 4 short). He's a 1 and 1/2 year old Yorkshire Terrier.

I'm also gonna post some of my fave YouTube videos in my next post! (They take up a lot of space). They're awesome! And nerdy! Stay tuned!

Today's Random Oddity of the Day is...

The revealing of my dream car! It's not a Mercedes, a Ferrari, or a limo... it's a powder blue Volkswagen Beetle convertible! WOO HOO!!! I know. It's weird, random, and sort of nerdy, but that's the cute car I'll be driving around even when I'm, like, 60! Jk! ^_^ The pic is to the left. My license plate will say something like "MOKI ROX"* or "2CUTE4U." Yeah, it's a cliche, but it looks awesome! Also I'm supposed to do all these chores today and clean up my house, but Blinda interrupted me with a long phone call and so did my friend Sarah, so I didn't get to anything. :( And I have a summer reading book and a 20 page packet to read and complete for school! UGGGGGGGGH!!! Anyway, my agony and pain is relieved when I post on the blog :) so it's not so bad. I'm bored, so now I'm off to do something really random. Toodle-oo!

OMG, Blinda!

OMC (Oh My Cow)!!! I haven't posted in like a week! I'm so sorwy! I was extremely busy w/ my crazy camp, for which I had to wake up at 7 a.m. and Moki (my dog) woke me up at 4:45 a.m. and I almost fell asleep during canoeing. But I didn't get to go in the shark tank because my mom needed to sign a health waiver and she's out of town. :( HEY BLINDA! Watchya been doin' these past days? Congrats to Amanda and Isabella on their AWESOME blogs! Sorry to Amanda that I said on your blog that I replied but I didn't. Well here's my reply now: Post on our blog as often as possible and P.S. I'm at the library!!!!

Hola!!!! I'm at the library right now. I'm typing this from the library's computer!!! Yay!!! So, I'm gonna borrow 4 books: Milkweed and Crash (both by Jerry Spinelli) and The Golden Compass ( I think Ari read that.) and Treasure Island by Robert louis Stevenson. Yay!! And I still have to finish my summer reading book and Chinese Cinderella so I don't think I'll have time to to read them all, but I can always renew!!!

Hey, awi, post a list of good books for me to read over the summer. Cuz you read an unhealthy amount. hehehehe...

Camp

Today was my first day at camp. It was pretty cool. We played tennis a lot. And a little kickball. The coach is pretty cool. His name is Frank. And I was really tired after. But it was only 4 hours. I wish it was longer. the people there are cool. And hannah's there too!!!
yay!!

Awi decided to go to Atlantis camp. Avec teresa. but there cool peoplez. Awi's coming to camp the 3rd week though, so that's good. yep.

And awi had tons of fun in Virginia. I talked to her on the bus. but then I lost connection and an hour later my cell phone died because it ran out of battery.

Hi Sandy and Eddie. Sorry for posting like two days after. I was really tired when we got home ( at 11 PM) and had camp the next day. I miss you guys already. I'll try to go on AIM but I have to download it first because I deleted everything. But I can always email you guys and call you guys. Even though I heard you never pick up.

Happy 5th of July Blinda! (Which happens 2 be only B 1 day after the 4th of July, but is not as important). I miss U! We made peach ice cream and it took 2 hours! We saw fireworks in the rain and I ate spicy chicken! Wish U were here, but hope UR having fun in Maine! Have fun in camp next week! There R a lot of exclamation points!

REPORT CARD MADNESS!!!

Nerdette Ari- OMG!!! Blinda and I go to the same school and we both got our report cards today! Blinda is doing a happy dance and is frolicking around her house. We both recieved awesome grades, obviously because we are such Nerdettes, and Blinda got to stay in honors (super gloating nerd). I achieved higher grades in all subjects (aside from English) than Blinda, but I'm not in honors :( And guess what? We passed gym (shocker)! And (thank god) I actually passed English!

Nerdette Blinda- I'm SOOOOOOOoo happy. cuz i did good in finals and i did awesome. and ari sucks at english but i got a 96. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. dommage, awi. hehehehe...........

Awi's Trip to Virginia

Cool your biscuits, Blinda! ^_^ I am going to Virginia, but only from Wednesday to Sunday. I might be able to post on the blog during that time, but then again I might not because I'm going to be spending lots of time with my aunt and uncle making ice cream and going to museums.
