Awiane visits the zoo and her grandmother...

And Bwinda hangs out with Michelle Henderson!! It was really cool. First we went to Friendly's for lunch and then we watched Eagle Eye!!! It was cool. and we won a million bucks on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?
And then Michele Hoffman and Hannah came by to heal Michele's wounds :( and we had ice cream!!!

Today was a cool day, but I missed Ariane SO MUCH!!!
I'm so glad it's VACATION!!!!!!!

Happenings...

Before you do anything else: watch/ listen to these videos (one is an awesome Beatles song, the other is Bohemian Rhapsody and the best part is exactly 3 min and 5 sec in [that NO ONE watched even though I mentioned it earlier]). I'm posting because it's the weekend and although I should be working on my homework, I blew it off (you can't prevent the inevitable). BTW, do you think liking/drawing manga (Japanese cartooning) is nerdy, cuz Blinda says it is and I'm concerned because, being a nerd, she should know. :P So, comment if you have an opinion on that and do vote on our poll so I can get the new layout up already. FYI, I am now obsessed with the bands Paramore and The Beatles. Just thought I'd ought to let you know... (ignore my Harry Potter quote, unless you're someone like Pandacat15 who would get the inside joke). :) Kays, I'll stop before the nerdy-ness is spread to far; enjoy your life everyone!

OLD SCHOOL BEATLES OWN!!!

I got into the habit of listening to my iPod one day, including this album of songs from The Beatles I got from places unknown, and I realize that The Beatles so totally rock! They've got some really awesome, catchy songs, and not just the popular ones. A lot of them I don't know the names of, but here's a list of the one's I like:

Yeah, that's a few that I picked out of my iPod. I'm sure Blinda has tons more that she looked up on Youtube that she can suggest to me. BTW, she's a bigger Beatles fan than I am, but she feels bad cuz she only knows the a few more recent songs. :(

Wicked!

So Blinda told me about this Wicked "Untold Story" Essay Contest ("Wicked" meaning the Broadway musical) that she heard about in English. Then my English teacher told our class about it and I was intrigued (there was a good prize involved). I think I'm gonna try and enter, but the deadline's next week so... the pressure's on! A few other people I know are entering too and this edutacational thing might actually be fun! (Strike that last thought, I must be delusional). Blinda says I don't post enough, so I just thought I'd ought to let you know... My life's too boring to say anything else and I'd better get off the computer before I'm late for my paragliding lessons, so ciao for now and enjoy nerd-ily saving the world!

My BIRTHDAY!!!

Today was my birthday!!!!!!!!! I'm SO HAPPY!!!! Ariane got mt this really cool t-shirt and we matched today!!!! isabella made me this REALLY cool bracelet!!(thanks!, Isabella!!!!!) and Kiersten go me a chocolate chip cookie and Hannah got me a blanket (cuz apparently, I sleep with a towel) I"M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!

Ugggggh!

I'm just trying to get some stupid music on our stupid (sorry, I didn't mean that; I meant "awesome") blog!!! It's taking me forever to find a widget that's not a piece of garbage and doesn't work. I already tried to have music playing in the background, but I can't get that to work either. Maybe, if I try hard enough and spend 4 hours slaving away on the computer until I accomplish something, I'll get it to work, but then again maybe the music's not worth it anyway. I don't know, if anyone knows anything about music codes (including you, Blinda) let me know, because this is really annoying me.
BTW, I was also sick today and got out of school! Yippee for me! ;)

How to Save the World in 394 Easy Steps!

Since we haven't been very true to our blog's theme of "Nerdettes Save the World," I'm starting to actually make a step-by-step guide to "saving ze world" in a few hundred easy steps! Here's the 1st one; listen (or read, rather) closely:
I'm telling everyone who's actually taking the time to read this (you guys ROCK!) to go look in your pantry or kitchen cupboard or wherever you keep the candy and tell me if you see any lollipops. WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?! No lollipops? Then go out and buy a pack of 50 lollipops and give them out to random people you see on the street. That's right. Chances are that one of your lollipop-ees was a needy person or someone who was lethally depressed and you cheered them up with your lollipops. How's that for saving the world? :D

So, the first FULL week of school ended. It was pretty good, but I have a TON of work to do. We only have 2 days to finish my labs. (First day is draft, second day is final copy) But this year, Isabella is in my class!!!!! Last year, whenever we had to partner up, I was left all alone. But this year, I know a lot of people in my class!!!! Isabella, Danielle, Jake, Christine, Alyson, and Sam are ALL in the same class!!! I'm SO happy!!! But the class is also REALLY hard. Well, off I go to finish my homework! And I'll write a comment on Isabella's blog...

So, I go on YouTube to find music videos of artists and stuff like that but I found this new channel called Parlophone. It's a record company (the one with Coldplay and Babyshambles,etc) and it has really great music videos because some of the videos for Coldplay (the ones that pop up first) are incomplete (like the Trouble video) but on Parlophone they are!!!!!

So I'm REALLY excited.
And there's tons of record labels on YouTube (including UniversalMusic), but I like Parlophone the best!!!!! :)

I Still Can't Type

Well, it's still only the 1st day, and so far all we know how to type correctly are the words "fad, as, dad, jak," and "lass." So I've got a ways to go.
